The Superubott is a particular kind of helmet wearied by Italian Police and Special Forces. The protection by the Superubott helmet is about: front, top and back of the head, temples and ears.

The high ballistic resistance and wide protection area make this an excellent helmet for the police, in particular for special squads engaged in dangerous tasks. It's been issued by the Italian Administration (over 30.000 units purchased) and successfully tested by many foreign laboratories: Aberdeen (USA), Wiesbaden (Germany). The demi jet shaped protective shell with visor is of the semi integrated type for head protection to the nape of the neck and comprises:

- an external thermoplastic shell with a very strong, hard wearing finish, combined with an aramid composite material shell with a patented compound;
- an internal lining of rigid foam film with lengthwise grooves containing the anti-shock material to guarantee an efficient trauma attenuation and good ventilation.

The parts are held together by an elastomeric liner that protects the lower edge of the shell. The suspension system is made of real leather designed to provide maximum comfort and durability. The helmet is supplied with a ballet proof visor full head protection. The completely transparent visor allows unimpaired vision, without any distortion of the image; the visor, fixed to the shell, can be adjusted to 45° and 90°.
