The SEPT 2 Plus Helmet has been designed according to Italian Army specifications to protect combat troops against fragments and gun bullets. The shell is made of composite material by means of High Performance Resin Transfer Molding (HPRTM) technology. This technology has been developed by Sistema Compositi and assures very high ballistic performances. STATUS: in production; used by Italian Armed Services and several other countries. The shell is linked to a suspension system by means of three only screws. This solution assures an higher useful protected surface. The adjustable suspension system permits to optimize the wear ability of the helmet. It is composed of a polyethylene structure and nylon straps with a foam pad covered of genuine leather. The SEPT 2 Plus Helmet is available in three sizes: Small (55 to 56), Medium (57 to 58) and Large (59 to 61) Available colours: NATO Green, UN Blue and Black (Others on request).
