FIAT - UNDER BODY CAR SHIELD
It’s a thermoplastic panel with glass strength; it has two characteristics: mechanical resistance and respect of acoustic regulation in force. The first type has been used for Lancia Dedra car; following it has been used for Marea and Stilo Fiat car too.
Characteristics:
- thermoplastic mix of high technologic content;
- reduced weight and cost.

FERRARI – ELECTONIC CARD CASE
Engineering and production of cases, pre-preg glass, used on the sides engine. Produced to keep the electronic cards, it can resist to high temperature and to insulate from water and wet. Further, Sistema Compositi has made the motor fuel float chamber to locate near the tank.

Production of fibreglass roofs. The technology used for this activity is a low pressure molding.

ETR_partsFIAT RAILWAY – ETR 460/470/480
ALSTOM FERROVIARIA
Since 1992, SISTEMA COMPOSITI have developed and produced the aerodynamic front cab of the high speed train ETR 460 for the Italian railway national company (FS). More recently new models for ETR 470 and 480 have been developed, addressed to SLOVENIA, CZECK Republic, SWITZERLAND. The cabin structure is totally manufactured with composite materials. To obtain the required rigidity, the solution adopted is based on sandwich-type panels composed of rigid foam core. Two fibreglass reinforced thermoset resin skins are adherent to the foam core. Components requiring greater shock resistance are reinforced by hybrid structures of aramid and glass fibers. Different elements are connected with adhesives and metallic bolts. The overall structure of the cab is self supporting and it is connected to the vehicle frame with metallic links. This solution has been innovative about design(integration without metallic frame)and manufacturing ( Resin Transfer Molding and Vacuum Bag).
Actually cabin refills are manufactured for the severals models.

ANSALDO BREDA
Sistema Compositi manufactured several composite panels and component parts of coaches lining inside trains. Composite paneIs are e-glass / polyester monoskin structures obtained by Low Compression Molding technology. Further, sandwich panels composed by fenolic and polyuretan prepreg textiles with autoextinguish properties have been realized,using ASM technology in order to reduce production costs respect to traditional sandwich panel manufacturing.
