In 1995, inside one of Sistema Compositi's building, a ballistic laboratory certified to the national standard has been opened. The area for the ballistic test is 25 metres long and it's equipped with:

• Pressure gaged barrel for different bores (9; 357; 44; 5.56; 7.62);
• Barrel support system with laser device;
• Optical system to gauge the velocity of the shells;
• Electronic equipment with software program;
• Cartridges loading system.

More over, it's possible to test the materials after the impact. The instrumentation can point out enquiries about shell energy input.
